Our engaging and fun environment will also address barriers to implementation and introduce the benefits of loose parts play.

“It was challenging to the educational philosophy I have as an early childhood teacher. It was challenging because it makes you go from a facilitator of learning to a co-learner and co-creator of valuable learning experiences for children where you are supporting their play and development rather than helping them play and develop. The training was thought provoking, challenges, lots of really great resources and idea generator presentation and hands on practical tools and experience. There was valuable, professional conversations with experienced educators.”

“"The Wild Gully and Homegrown training served as a powerful reminder of how essential the natural environment is to childhood development. Reminding us throughout the morning to "step back and tune in" offered a valuable insight into how children are fully capable of experiencing and engaging with the world around them on their own terms, without constant adult intervention. Through their focus on nature and risky play, it became clear how deeply children connect with the world around them when given the space to explore freely. By using natural materials like dyes and objects found in the park, they demonstrated how the outdoors can spark creativity, problem-solving and sustained engagement. Leanne and Eleanor’s approach reinforced the importance of providing children with experiences in nature, where they can learn, grow and thrive in a truly organic way. Such a beautiful morning!"

“The team at Nurture Early Learning, Biloela enjoyed a day packed with new learning and hands on experiences from Leanne & Eleanor. It was a time to immerse ourselves in nature, reflect on what play means to us and how we can embrace this at our own service and Bush Kindy.
A huge thanks to Leanne & Eleanor for sharing their knowledge and experience with us, you literally reignited our passion for nature play.
Bronwyn, Biloela
